Appointing Authority: Lowell Rural Fire Protection District
Melanie comes to us from Springfield where she was born and raised. Her family and friends live in the area so she has deep roots here in the Willamette Valley. She first became interested in the Fire and Emergency Medical Services field in 2016. The next summer at Sky Camp, Fire Chief Lon Dragt offered her the opportunity to volunteer in Lowell. She has since received her EMT license and is continuing her education at Lane Community College for an Associate’s degree in Paramedicine. She loves spending time with her family, serving her community, and enjoying life. If you see her around, feel free to come up and say hi!
